Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1 : Arrival - Visit Munneswaram & Manavari in Chilaw – Transfer Anuradhapura

Upon your arrival in Sri Lanka, enjoy a seamless transfer to Chilaw, just 1.5 hours from the airport. Among your first stop is Munneswaram Temple, a holy place to which, after the Brahmahasti sin with Sita, King Rama came to pray to Lord Shiva to redeem himself. Lord Shiva instructed him to install and worship lingams at five locations, of which Munneswaram is one. You will visit Manavari Temple, where Lord Rama installed the first Shiva lingam called Ramalingam today. After these spiritual visits, embark on a 3-hour journey to Anuradhapura, where you'll enjoy a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Anuradhapura - Trincomalee

After an early breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and explore Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage site known as the cradle of the Sinhalese Buddhist civilization. During your two-hour tour, you’ll marvel at the ancient stupas, sacred bodhi trees, and grand reservoirs that symbolize the rich cultural heritage of Sri Lanka. Look out for stupas and ancient reservoirs at this island heritage city, after which you'll be transferred to Trincomalee. You will visit the shrine of Thirukoneswaram Temple, which is said to have been constructed by Sage Agasthiyar under the instructions of Lord Shiva. This temple assumes a very special position in Ramayana legends as Lord Shiva was pleased with the devotion of Ravana and constructed a temple to his name. You shall also visit Lover's Leap and other attractions of Trincomalee. In the evening, return to your hotel in Trincomalee to enjoy a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 : Trincomalee – Kandy

Day three involves visiting more of the attractive coastal town of Trincomalee on your way to Kandy. Along the way, you will see the Dambulla Cave Temple world heritage site and the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. Along the way, you will stop at a spice garden in Matale, where you can enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan lunch. Once in Kandy, you visit the temple of the Tooth, and this is one of Buddhism's most revered relics. Then we explore the city tour of Kandy with its beautiful hills, serene lake, and historical landmarks. You will have dinner and overnight in Kandy.
